Campaign Details

posted: 28 November 2019 This is a play-by-post Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition campaign which started on 22 February 2019 with five level 1 adventurers. As the start of the campaign was a bit slow and difficult to follow, the posts here will begin past the prelude, at which point the group consisted of six third-level characters: Bongo the Halfling Sorcerer (Divine Soul) Durawinn the Human Bard (College of Valor) Gumbar the Dwarven Cleric (Light Domain) Octavious the Human Rogue (Assassin) Ramza the Human Fighter (Battle Master) (soon joined by) Kalochex the Dragonborn Barbarian (Path of the Storm Herald) Here's a quick recap of what happened in the prelude: The party began their adventure as a group of five heading to the small town of Gramsby, a mining settlement in the mountains west of the Capital. World Background

posted: 28 November 2019 The world of Zattar is a magical place. Not in a romantic or fantasized sense, but in that magic is everywhere. The weave is especially strong here - it seems almost everyone has some minor magical ability. Everywhere you travel you will find farmers tilling their fields using the Mold Earth cantrip, storytellers using Gust to add to their tales, and craftsmen casting Mending to fix a broken cart. It is the 13th year of the reign of Athel the Wise, and for the first time in as long as anyone can remember, the Elyn Empire is at peace. The Great Northern War ended in an uneasy truce only a few months ago, and people are still trying to return to normalcy in the Empire.
